The professional recruiting company Hays Czech Republic published its annual Salary Survey. It is an overview of salaries in the Czech Republic compiled on the basis of a gross monthly salary in Czech crowns (CZK) based on the company's recruitment projects in 2013. This year, the situation in the region of Moravia and Silesia is described in a separate section of the study.
Hays summarizes general information about the development of the Czech labor market and the evaluates a partial survey on employee motivation in the Czech Republic. The actual salary survey focuses on jobs in the fields of Accounting & Finance, IT/Telecoms, Construction & Property, Energy, Sales & Marketing, Life Sciences, Banking, Office Professionals, Manufacturing & Engineering and Business Services. The salaries of HR professionals are included in the category of Office Professionals which was called "Office Support" in the last year's survey.
We find that the number of vacancies in this category was significantly lower than the demand in 2013. That is why employers could choose their employees carefully and require very specific skills. Most positions in this category require good English and the ability to adapt to new environments quickly. While the size of the support teams in Czech companies has been decreasing, the scope of their agenda is increasing, as well as the emphasis on flexibility and efficiency.
