Punctuality and planning
According to a LinkedIn Pulse article, you must make being on time your priority. And not only concerning important tasks and meetings, but also smaller tasks. Work systematically. Before starting a task, always specify beforehand what the maximum time you are willing to give it is.
Save emails for later
Most people, when they come to work, the first thing they do is to go through e-mails. It turns out, however, that this is not exactly the most efficient thing to do. You should save them for later, when you have less energy, rather than more. So, in the morning you should take advantage of your energy levels and use it on more important things, such as strategic planning.
Call, don't write
Much time is lost due to e-mail ping-ponging, which we usually do with our business partners, clients, and often with colleagues. Instead of an endless series of questions and answers, it is much more efficient to pick up the phone and give them a call.
Evaluate the efficiency of your work
Many people feel that they work hard, but in reality they work on tasks that are just "maintenance", and which don't help them develop in terms of business and sales. People often claim that this work has to be done and that they don't have time for important things. In reality, they then spend a lot of time doing inefficient work. The truth is that if you devote more time to the "important" strategic issues, the volume of everyday administration and maintenance tasks should decrease in the long term.
