The P4P program provides employees and their families free access to more than twenty types of vaccinations for children and adults, and detailed preventive examinations that are not covered by health insurance, including digital dermatoscopy or HIV prevention. Employees and their loved ones will be also provided with help with quitting smoking. The program can also be used by women on maternity and parental leave.
In the Czech Republic, the P4P program was implemented in cooperation with AGEL medical clinics and the vaccine centers of Avenier, a member of the AGEL Group.
The program will be available in 150 countries
According to Pavla Bučilová, GSK's HR Country Manager for the Czech Republic, the program's primary effort was to make high-quality health care services as available to employees as possible.
"Our priority is to help employees understand their health and take care of it. However, the participation in P4P is, of course, entirely voluntary and confidential. Thanks to this project, we are able to significantly reduce our employees' health care costs. Feedback from our people is excellent. Employees appreciate this program and are very interested in it," says Pavla Bučilová.
"Not only employees, but also their partners, spouses, children and parents can use the program without any limitations. It is a world-unique project confirming that we don't only care for patients and our customers, but also for our own people and their families," adds Jakub Hofmann, GSK's Communication Manager.
The project applies to all GSK employees worldwide. The selected services primarily include prevention and diagnostics services. Last but not least, they also comply with recommendations of the World Health Organization. GSK's goal is to implement the P4P program in all 150 countries where the company operates by the end of 2018.
