Prague College, one of the Czech Republic's leading private universities, is delighted to announce the date of its annual ‘Summer School’ which this year runs from 6th until 26th June and offers an increased range of short courses that are open to both prospective students and members of the public that would like to take the opportunity to learn something new.
Prague College’s specially-developed short classes take place four days a week or at weekends, and are designed to deliver learning in a way that allows attendees to feel real progress, even over a short period. Whether someone is a current student or they have been out of education for some time, this is the perfect opportunity to spend part of the summer learning a new skill, under the supervision of expert lecturers from Prague College.
Talking about the Summer School, Douglas Hajek, the founder and director of Prague College said: “We started these courses some years ago, as we wanted to give potential students the opportunity to spend some time with us, find out more about their chosen subjects, and meet some of their potential lecturers before they made the decision to start on a full degree course. What was quickly apparent, however, is that it was not just students that welcomed the chance to come in and study during the summer months, and we are delighted that we are getting more and more members of the general public signing up for a wide range of different classes.”
This summer, Prague College’s School of IT and Computing offers courses from project management to web design, and from algorithmic programming to wifi networking. There are also practical courses on Business Decision Making, Personal and Professional Development, Social Media Marketing and much more. And for artists and designers there is Digital Applications in Art and Design, plus - once the good weather arrives - techniques and skills for painting in the open air.
As well as the above classes, the Prague College summer school features a number of special formats this summer including an eight day ‘Cyberspace’ Exhibition and Workshop, a hands-on Project Management course which includes virtual learning sessions, and a two-weekend course for entrepreneurs called ‘Let’s Start a Business’.
Registration for the Summer School Classes ends Friday 3th June and can be done on the Prague College website at https://www.praguecollege.cz/summer-school.
